Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable High School Math Tutor to join our educational team who enjoys working with young people, mostly in High School. This is one on one and is not a remote job. Living in Bainbridge Island is best.

Duties

• Develop and implement helpful lesson plans tailored to individual student needs.
• Provide tutoring in subjects such as Math, Algebra 1 and 2, Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus, Pre Calculus, Statistics
• Assist students with homework assignments and exam preparation.
• Foster a positive learning environment through respectful one on one tutoring
• Collaborate with parents and educators to support student development.

Experience

• Familiarity with special education practices is a plus.
• Comfortable working with children and teens.
• We welcome applicants who are committed to working with students handle the confusions and gaps in their learning in this subject. Math is a weak point for many students.
• Can work with kids that may need Executive Function skills organizing, planning and help with homework projects.
