About the Role
We’re looking for a dependable, detail-oriented individual to support a growing home renovation and basement finishing business. This is an on-site, per diem position — ideal for someone who enjoys being in the field, visiting job sites, and helping ensure projects run smoothly day-to-day.
You’ll act as the on-site extension of the company’s virtual project coordinator, helping manage inspections, permits, safety, and site operations.

Key Responsibilities
Visit active job sites to check on crews, ensure work is progressing, and verify that all workers are wearing appropriate PPE (personal protective equipment).
Accompany or represent the contractor at site inspections and permit offices.
Pick up and deliver permits, plans, or other documentation as needed.
Report daily site observations, updates, and any safety or compliance issues to the project manager.
Coordinate small on-site needs such as deliveries, access, and communication between the field and office teams.
Assist with other project-related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications
Experience or interest in construction, remodeling, or property maintenance preferred.
Strong communication and observation skills.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
Ability to walk job sites and monitor active construction environments safely.
Dependable, organized, and comfortable working independently in the field.

Schedule & Compensation
Status: Per diem / Part-time to start (potential for more hours as company grows).
Schedule: Flexible daytime hours, depending on project activity.
Compensation: Competitive per diem rate, commensurate with experience.

You’re hands-on, reliable, and comfortable in a construction environment. You’re equally at home checking job sites and talking with inspectors or contractors and you take pride in helping keep projects safe, compliant, and on track.
