Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Field Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, servicing, and troubleshooting telecommunications and networking equipment at customer locations. This role requires strong technical ability, professionalism, and excellent customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, and maintain telecom/network equipment, cabling, and devices on-site
• Perform diagnostics, testing, and troubleshooting for service issues
• Complete work orders, service documentation, and job reports accurately
• Communicate with customers to explain services, equipment, and solutions
• Ensure all work meets safety, quality, and compliance standards
• Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle in good working condition
• Collaborate with the team and report project status to supervisors

Qualifications:

• Previous field service, telecom, cable, or IT experience preferred
• Strong technical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various environments (indoors/outdoors, ladders, attics, etc.)
