G Technology is a full service Electrical Contracting company serving Commercial and Industrial clients.

We are currently looking for a part-time videographer/photographer to to join our marketing team. Position involves visiting job sites and capturing high-quality professional footage and images of our team working throughout various stages of our projects.

Position will initially be a few hours per week during normal construction hours and may transition to full-time in the future.

  • Travel regularly to construction sites to capture photo and video content throughout project lifecycles from build stages to completion.
  • Edit photos and videos for high-quality branding and marketing across social media platforms.
  • Edit video clips for marketing and social media platforms and provide to G Tech team for posting purposes.
  • Manage and post content on various company social media accounts, including LinkedIn, Facebook, TikTok, etc.
  • Maintain an organized library of photo and video assets for internal and marketing use.
  • Attend and capture photo and video content at company events, community activities, and special projects as needed.
  • Originating and writing creative content for video shoots.
  • Concepting, storyboarding, preparing projects for filming.
  • Collaboration with marketing team for project concept and design approvals.
  • Manage production timelines and deliver finished videos according to deadlines.
  • Planning and scheduling video shoots, locations, shots, content, equipment, lighting, talent, etc.
  • Coordination with customers, job site locations, local municipalities if required.
  • Acknowledge site limitations and present alternate solutions.
  • Editing raw footage, acquiring and documenting music rights, adding graphics and animations to videos.
  • Posting videos via LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook, etc. to maintain a virtual presence.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in both manual and automatic camera settings; able to adjust exposure, focus, and lighting for varying environments and conditions.
  • Experience with drones a plus.
  • Must be creative, artistic, and design according to company brand and culture.
  • Must have experience with video, sound, recording equipment.
  • Must have experience with editing software, preferably Adobe Premiere Pro.
  • Must be willing to learn company culture and overall marketing strategies.
  • Must be flexible to visit job sites for footage and balance time between filming and editing.
  • Must be highly detail oriented, organized, motivated.
  • Must be professional and courteous at all times.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to pass background/drug test.
  • Must have access to a personal vehicle for travel to job sites.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud Suite a plus: Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro.
