Overview
We are seeking a skilled Tax Preparer to join our team. The ideal candidate will prepare and consult on tax matters, ensuring adherence to tax regulations and maximizing tax efficiencies.

Duties

• - Prepare tax returns, including federal and state income tax. Tax Types: 1040
• - Conduct research on tax issues and stay updated on changes in tax laws
• - Provide guidance on financial decisions with tax implications
• - Deliver a quality product in a timely manner

Experience:

• - EA certification preferred
• - Experience preparing individual income tax returns with intermediate to complex tax profiles
• - Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, TaxDome, Drake Tax Software, & CCH ProSystem Fx is a plus
• - Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
• - Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• - Must understand & adhere to security protocols for sensitive information & documents
• - Ability to effectively communicate (written and oral) with staff and tax clients
