Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in accordance with local codes and regulations.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of electrical systems.
• Utilize tools such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and power tools to diagnose electrical issues effectively.
• Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential problems or areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction projects to ensure seamless integration of electrical components.
• Ensure compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) during all installations and repairs.
• Perform low voltage wiring for various applications as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Electrician or in a similar role, preferably in an industrial setting.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and safety protocols.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics accurately.
• Familiarity with using diagnostic tools such as ammeters and ohmmeters.
• Experience with frame carpentry is a plus but not required.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Valid electrician’s license or certification is preferred but not mandatory.
