Midstone Service Group – Product Management & Technology Internship (Fall 2025)

Location: Remote | Commitment: 5–20 hours/week | Compensation: Unpaid

About Midstone Service Group

Midstone Service Group is building a national platform of government-mandated service companies that keep healthcare, industrial, utility, and government facilities in compliance. We combine operational expertise with technology to make regulatory compliance easier, faster, and more reliable across essential industries.

About Midstone OS

Midstone OS is our proprietary compliance and operations platform designed to help building managers and service providers stay ahead of regulation. The system automates reminders, schedules technicians, tracks certifications, and integrates upcoming regulatory updates. You can explore the beta here: Midstone OS.

About the Internship

We’re looking for a Product Management & Tech Intern to help shape the next version of Midstone OS and enhance our public website, ------------. The intern will work directly with Zonta Owens (HBS MBA; ex-Bain; acquired 3 companies) and collaborate with designers, developers, and operations leaders to define requirements, improve UX, and ship features.

Key Responsibilities

Research user pain points within compliance-driven industries (healthcare, industrial, utilities).

Translate feedback into clear feature requirements, user stories, and wireframes.

Collaborate with developers to prioritize sprints, QA new releases, and test functionality.

Help design the Midstone OS dashboard and reporting interface.

Enhance the Midstone website with updated visuals, product pages, and content flow.

Document workflows and feature specs for both internal and client use.

Analyze metrics (engagement, retention, uptime) to guide product decisions.

What You’ll Gain

Direct mentorship from Zonta Owens, learning how tech supports an acquisition platform.

Hands-on experience in product management, UX strategy, and low-code tools.

Exposure to real-world software-development lifecycles — from concept to live deployment.

Opportunities to sit in on leadership and investor meetings discussing tech strategy.

Career support and referrals for tech, consulting, and VC/PE roles.

A tangible product and portfolio pieces demonstrating your PM impact.

Desired Qualifications

Interest in product management, UX/UI, or startup tech.

Strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Familiarity with no-code or low-code tools (e.g., Retool, Bubble, Webflow, Framer, v0, or Airtable).

Technical literacy (HTML/CSS/JavaScript or API experience a plus).

Entrepreneurial mindset — comfortable working independently, learning fast, and iterating.
