Youth Mentor – REACH Through Education

Location: Greater Houston Area, The Woodlands

Position Type: Part time | Paid Training Provided

Pay: $15–$25/hour

About Us

REACH Through Education is an Executive Function Coaching business that supports K-12 students in developing key skill sets such as emotional regulation, organization, goal setting, follow-through, and time management.

We infuse our coaching program with targeted social-emotional learning (SEL) and conscious living practices to help students build confidence, resilience, and a healthy balance both in and out of the classroom.

We are a small but growing locally-owned business that is always looking for people who would be interested in leadership positions as we expand our company. 

Position Overview

We are seeking college students or recent graduates who are passionate about youth development and interested in learning how to support children in their development and emotional growth. Mentors receive comprehensive training before being paired with students and ongoing support throughout the program.

Responsibilities

Teach executive functioning skills such as organization, time management, and focus among others.

Help students develop emotional regulation and stress management techniques.

Encourage growth-oriented mindsets and intentional goal setting.

Communicate progress and observations with the REACH Through Education team management and parents. 

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a college or university.

Interest in education, psychology, counseling, youth development, or a related field.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Dependable, organized, and compassionate.

Willingness to travel to student's home within Greater Houston Area.

Background check required.

Schedule & Compensation

Part-time, weekday afternoons preferred

$15–$25 per hour (based on experience and training completion)
