I’m seeking a story editor to help bring real-life narratives to life through clear, beautiful storytelling. I’m currently conducting one-on-one interviews with refugees and veterans as part of an online “Living Museum” project. 

Each conversation is being transcribed and shaped with the help of AI into an initial draft profile or story. Your role would be to go in after that first pass — to refine, shape, and elevate the pieces so they read with heart, rhythm, and authenticity. The goal is to honor each storyteller’s voice while making the profiles flow beautifully and resonate emotionally with readers. 

What I’m looking for: Strong editing and storytelling skills Sensitivity to real-life and cross-cultural narratives 

Ability to make stories sing while keeping the integrity of the voice
