The Mitchell family is seeking a dedicated and compassionate nanny to provide exceptional care for my children-physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. This role goes beyond basic supervision; it's about nurturing, encouraging, and helping them grow while recognizing and seeking the best in and for them.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide attentive, loving care that supports each child's development and well-being.
Support the home with light household tasks: sweeping, vacuuming, cleaning up after meals, guiding the children in tidying their toys/messes, and occasional help with meal prep.
Maintain open and thoughtful communication with Dad, understanding the tender season the family is in as the children grieve the loss of their mother.
Show genuine commitment and professionalism. This is more than a job-it's a vital role in a crucial chapter of our children's lives.
I am looking for someone who sees this position not just as a task, but as a beloved family member. If you have a heart for children, a strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to be a steady presence in their world, I'd love to hear from you. They are responsible for the children's daily needs, including providing care, creating a safe environment, and engaging them in age-appropriate activities, seeking the best for them, enjoying life and fun recreation, being a person of trust to us, loving them well, while maintaining strong and solid boundaries.
Childcare: Providing attentive care, creating a safe and nurturing environment, and ensuring the children's physical and emotional needs are met.
Supervision: Overseeing the children's activities, ensuring their safety, and guiding their behavior.
Educational Support: Engaging children in age-appropriate activities, assisting with homework, and promoting their learning and development.
Household Tasks: Preparing meals (mainly for the kids), cleaning, and other light housekeeping duties related to the children's care.
Transportation: Driving children to and from school, activities, or appointments.
Communication: Regularly communicating with Dad about the children's progress, behavior, and needs. As well as, your needs and best ways I can care for you. We'll succeed together by communicating well and clearly.
Emergency Preparedness: Knowing how to respond to emergencies and providing first aid as needed.
