AccelNet is a fixed wireless internet service provider providing services primarily in the Seattle metro area. Our field technicians are the heart and soul of the operation, and the role is not a fit for everyone. We find the most successful people for this role tend to like the variety of work that comes with the role. You won't be doing the same thing day after day. One day you may be at a customer location installing an antenna and running cable. The next day you may be up on the top of a mountain doing work at a tower site. The next day you may be performing maintenance on the generators or battery systems that keep our systems up. A strong mechanical aptitude is needed, an interest in electronics/computers is ideal, and an openness to doing what needs to get done is essential.
Our pay scale is based on experience. We are open to training you from start to finish and would love to see you grow within the organization. On the other hand, if you have similar experience and can hit the ground running, we are happy to pay accordingly. There is no limit to the amount our employees can earn in any position, and we have additional bonus and commission structures in place for those that are interested.
As a member of our field operations crew, the field technician ensures that every installation, repair, survey, etc. are performed at the highest quality possible. They are also responsible for creating and maintaining a safe work environment for themselves, and their co-workers. A field technician reports directly to the Field Operations Manager.
