NATIONWIDE SEARCH: GRETNA, LA (LOCAL CANDIDATES PREFERRED) - A wonderful family is seeking a full-time, long-term LIVE OUT nanny to care for their loving, outgoing 2-year-old daughter. Their little one is a true bundle of joy who attends school Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM and enjoys an active lifestyle filled with play, exploration, and new experiences. Ideally, they would like someone to people open to the schedule Tues – Saturday with Sunday and Mondays OFF, 40 hours guaranteed. With parents who have demanding careers and a full social calendar, they are looking for a nanny who can provide safe, attentive, and nurturing care while being proactive in planning age-appropriate activities that support her development, spark creativity, and encourage confidence as she grows.

The family would love to find someone who plays the piano and/or speaks another language, as well as a caregiver who is adaptable, easy-going, trustworthy, and dedicated to this work as a long-term career. Reliability, flexibility, and strong communication are essential, as the position does require occasional evenings, weekends, and travel. The nanny must be open to traveling with the family across the country, with the potential for international travel in the future.

Responsibilities include caring for their daughter’s daily needs and routines, preparing healthy meals and cooking (if possible), supporting schoolwork, engaging in fun learning opportunities, assisting with her laundry and light household tasks, running occasional errands, and caring for the family’s pets (two dogs and two cats). A family car will be provided for use on the job. They are in the process of building a house and they will have a pool, so water safety and swim competency required.

The family is offering $30–$40/hour depending on experience, along with payroll employment, paid vacation, holidays, sick days, and relocation assistance if needed. Ideal candidates will be warm, professional, and dedicated, with prior experience caring for toddlers, up-to-date vaccinations, and a willingness to swim with children, travel with the family, and administer medications if necessary.
