DCFS-Licensed Home Daycare looking for an early childhood educator to substitute for maternity leave

Fun, laid-back home atmosphere where you have ability to bring your own creativity and learning activities to enrich each child's experience

Job begins one day per week now through December. Starts full-time Mondays - Fridays January 5th, 2026 and ends after maternity leave on March 6th, 2026.

Responsibilities include:

• Caring for a group of six 4-year-old children
• Leading and implementing lesson plans
• Creating lesson plans that target the four developmental domains
• Constructing weekly arts and crafts
• Helping with meal times and providing meal-prep

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in childcare, teaching, or other related fields
• Passionate about working with children
• Ability to build rapport with children
• Positive and patient demeanor
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Background check and current medical examination required

Hours are 7:30am - 4:30pm

$25/Hour with paid lunch-hour and paid hour lesson plan time
