About WagBook
WagBook is a fast-growing digital marketplace and social platform built for dog lovers. We’re launching our Minimal Marketable Product (MMP) this fall and building a community where pets and their people connect through shared experiences, local events, and a token-powered ecosystem.

About the Role
We are seeking a creative and ambitious Social Media Intern who lives and breathes social platforms and knows how to create authentic, engaging content that resonates. You’ll help build WagBook’s social presence across Instagram, TikTok, X (Twitter), and emerging platforms. This role is fully remote and offers a unique chance to grow with a startup that’s disrupting the pet + social tech space.

Responsibilities

Develop and schedule engaging daily/weekly content across Instagram, TikTok, X, and other platforms.

Stay on top of trends, memes, and viral formats to keep WagBook relevant and fresh.

Collaborate with the WagBook.dog team to support marketing campaigns, app launches, and community initiatives.

Monitor community engagement, respond to comments/messages, and help foster a vibrant online presence.

Track performance metrics and share insights to improve reach, engagement, and conversions.

Qualifications

Current college student (or recent grad) with strong knowledge of social media platforms.

Proven ability to create eye-catching, fun, and shareable content (video editing skills on TikTok/Reels a plus).

Passion for dogs, pets, or community-driven platforms is a bonus.

Excellent communication and writing skills.

Self-motivated, creative, and able to thrive in a remote environment.

Compensation & Structure

First 90 days: Equity-only probationary period.

After 90 days: $22/hour on a 1099 Independent Contractor Agreement.
