The Role

We are seeking an experienced Competitive Gymnastics Coach who is passionate about developing athletes, building strong fundamentals, and fostering a love for the sport. This role is ideal for a former competitive gymnast, current student or recent college graduate, or experienced coach looking for an opportunity to make a real impact in a close-knit community.

Responsibilities

• Coach and develop competitive gymnastics athletes (levels Xcel bronze-Xcel platinum)
• Plan and implement training focused on skill progression, safety, and long-term athlete development
• Support athletes in preparing for competitions (skills, routines, mental readiness)
• Work collaboratively with gym staff and parents to create a positive training environment
• Option to coach recreational classes, camps, and clinics as desired

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a competitive gymnast OR coaching competitive gymnastics
• Strong communication skills and ability to motivate athletes
• USAG membership/certifications (or willingness to obtain—support provided)
• Commitment to athlete safety and positive coaching philosophy
