Position Overview
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our CCTV systems distribution team. The primary responsibility of this role is to generate qualified leads through targeted prospecting, cold calling, and outreach campaigns. The BDR will identify potential customers, qualify their needs, and pass high-intent leads to the Account Executive team for closing and account management.
This is a top-of-funnel sales roleβyou will be the first point of contact for new prospects, ensuring our sales pipeline is consistently full of high-quality opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
π Outbound Prospecting & Cold Calling β Identify and contact potential customers via phone, email, and LinkedIn to introduce our CCTV solutions.
π― Lead Qualification β Assess prospect needs, budget, and decision-making authority to ensure alignment with our ideal customer profile.
π Pipeline Development β Maintain a steady flow of qualified leads to the sales team, ensuring a healthy and predictable sales funnel.
π Market Research β Identify new business opportunities by researching industries, competitors, and market trends.
π CRM Management β Log all activities, track lead status, and maintain accurate records in the CRM system.
π’ Campaign Collaboration β Work with marketing to refine messaging, target lists, and outreach strategies.
π Performance Tracking β Meet or exceed monthly KPIs for calls made, leads generated, and meetings booked.
Qualifications
1β2 years of experience in business development, sales, or telemarketing (B2B preferred).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
Comfortable making high-volume outbound calls daily.
Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Netsuite) and lead generation platforms.
Knowledge of CCTV, security systems, or related technology is a plus.
Self-motivated, target-driven, and resilient in handling objections.
KPIs & Success Metrics
Number of qualified leads generated per month.
Number of outbound calls/emails made.
Conversion rate from lead to opportunity.
