The Nanny Edit is delighted to assist a warm and active family in their search for a professional, engaging, and organized nanny. This household includes four children (ages 17, 14, 8, and 6) as well as one friendly golden retriever. While the older children are fairly independent, the younger two require more hands-on support. The nanny will not be responsible for the 17-year-old. The 8-year-old participates in competitive cheer, which requires frequent transportation to and from practices and events multiples times per week. For this reason, the family requires a nanny with a reliable vehicle and an excellent driving record, as school pickups and driving to extracurricular activities will be a key part of the role. The nanny will be compensated for gas mileage. The family values structure, consistency, and fun, with a parenting philosophy rooted in firm but kind boundaries, offering one reminder before implementing a loss of privileges.

Primary responsibilities will include school pickups, transportation to after-school activities, meal preparation, and light household tidying related to the children. The nanny will also assist with homework, support daily routines, and foster independence while maintaining a warm, structured, and enjoyable environment. The nanny should be comfortable around dogs and be open to traveling with the family when needed.

The ideal candidate will be friendly, patient, and energetic, with the ability to connect with children of different ages. Strong organizational skills, flexibility, self-motivation, and a proactive work ethic are essential. The nanny must have their own safe, reliable, and well-maintained car, along with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

The family is eager to find a nanny who can seamlessly integrate into their home, provide structure and care, and build a long-term relationship.
