Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Medical Assistant at Northeast Endocrinology Associates, PA, located in San Antonio, TX. The Medical Assistant will be responsible for supporting physicians and healthcare providers with patient care, including taking patient histories, preparing patients for examinations, and performing routine laboratory tests. Additional responsibilities include managing medical records, scheduling appointments, and ensuring the medical office runs efficiently.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Medical Assisting and Medical Terminology
• Experience in managing medical offices and medical records
• Strong patient care skills
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively within a team
• CMA (Certified Medical Assistant) or RMA (Registered Medical Assistant) certification preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or education in medical assisting is a plus
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is a plus
