Responsibilities:
- Greet guests as they arrive and seat them in a timely manner
- Manage reservations and walk-in guests efficiently using RESY
- Provide menus, answer questions about menu items, and make recommendations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and waiting area
- Assist in coordinating with servers to ensure smooth flow of service
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism
- Operate POS systems such as TOAST and RESY for seating assignments and guest management
- Uphold phone etiquette when handling reservation calls
Experience:
- Prior experience in a hotel, restaurant, or customer service role is advantageous
- Familiarity with POS systems, preferably TOAST, is a plus
- Strong guest services skills with the ability to create a positive guest experience
- Knowledge of food service operations and guest relations
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Background in food service or hospitality industry
- Experience in guest relations or front-of-house operations
- Proficiency in handling reservations and managing guest flow effectively
- Familiarity with food service management practices
