As we grow across Glencoe, Skokie, and Lincolnwood, we’re inviting passionate instructors to help us shape unforgettable, confidence-building experiences for children ages 3 and up. Taiga Gymnastics is hiring 2–3 part-time instructors for our fall programs in Skokie, Lincolnwood and Glencoe. Positions are available for both Lead Instructors and Assistant Instructors, depending on experience and availability.

Open Positions & Schedule

We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable individuals for the following fall roles:

Wednesdays (Skokie):

  • Lead Instructor – MiniMovers (ages 3–5) 5PM
  • Lead or Assistant Instructor – Dance Gymnastics (ages 6–8) at 6PM

Fridays (Skokie):

  • Lead or Assistant Instructor – Dance Gymnastics (ages 4–6) at 5PM
  • Lead or Assistant Instructor – Junior Jumpers (ages 5–7) at 6PM

Fridays (Glencoe):

  • Assistant Instructor – MiniMovers (ages 3–5), Afterschool Club at 3PM

Additional Opportunities:

  • Birthday parties & holiday camps (optional)
  • Lincolnwood classes
  • Possible weekend classes

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead or assist in fun, structured gymnastics/dance classes following Taiga’s curriculum
  • Create a welcoming, safe, and inclusive atmosphere for children and families
  • Support class setup and cleanup
  • Collaborate with the Taiga coaching team on lesson plans and seasonal events

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience working with children (teaching, babysitting, camp counseling, etc.)
  • Background in dance, gymnastics, cheerleading, or similar movement-based activities
  • Lead Instructors: Must have prior teaching/coaching experience with children and hold current First Aid certification (or be willing to obtain before classes start)
  • Assistants: No prior gymnastics experience required — we provide training
  • Positive, patient, and safety-minded personality
  • Age requirement: 16+ for assistants, 18+ preferred for lead roles

Important Dates:

  • Application deadline: August 20, 2025 (please state which groups you’re interested in and your availability)
  • Interviews: August 21–22 & 26–27, 2025
  • Selection & confirmation: By the end of August
  • Team training & season planning: In the begining September (approx. 3 hours, time TBD)
  • Classes begin: Staggered start from September 6, 2025
