Youth Soccer Coach – Willowbrook, IL

Job Summary:

The Youth Soccer Coach in Willowbrook, IL, is responsible for coaching and mentoring young athletes, typically aged 3-14, to develop soccer skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship. The coach creates a positive, safe, and engaging environment, delivering age-appropriate training sessions and fostering player growth both on and off the field.

Key Responsibilities:

•  Plan and lead soccer practices and games, focusing on skill development, strategy, and fun.

•  Teach fundamental soccer techniques, rules, and game strategies.

•  Promote a positive team culture emphasizing discipline, respect, and inclusivity.

•  Ensure player safety and maintain a supportive environment during practices and matches.

•  Communicate effectively with players, parents, and club staff.

•  Track player progress and provide constructive feedback.

•  Adhere to club, league, and state regulations, including background checks and coaching certifications.

Qualifications:

•  Minimum USSF Grassroots License or equivalent (or willingness to obtain within 12 months).

•  Prior experience coaching youth soccer preferred but not required we will train you . 

•  Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

•  Passion for youth development and soccer.

•  Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a background check.

•  Availability for evenings and weekends (, typically 5-10 hours/week).

Salary: $15-$45/hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
