About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated General Contractor / Site Supervisor to oversee construction projects in South San Francisco. This individual will act as the primary point of responsibility on-site, supervising crews, managing subcontractors, ensuring safety compliance, and delivering projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage day-to-day construction activities on-site.

Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and inspectors.

Ensure all work meets building codes, safety standards, and project specifications.

Create and maintain project schedules, ensuring deadlines are met.

Oversee site labor, assign tasks, and supervise workers effectively.

Review and approve subcontractor work and progress.

Communicate regularly with project owners/management regarding status, issues, and updates.

Handle procurement of materials and ensure efficient use of resources.

Resolve on-site conflicts and provide leadership to maintain productivity.

Ensure job sites remain clean, organized, and safe.

Qualifications

Valid California General Contractor’s License preferred.

Minimum 5 years of proven experience in construction management or general contracting.

Strong knowledge of construction methods, codes, and regulations.

Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.

Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.

Proficient in project management tools and reporting.
