2nd Shift Heavy Equipment Operator 

Automation Personnel Services is looking for Heavy Equipment Operators that are ready to advance your career to the next level and Join a Large Paper Distribution Company located in Lithia Springs.  In this role you will have the opportunity to take your career to another level while being a key part of a dynamic team.

Pay Rate 
$18.00 per hour 

Schedule and Hours 
2nd Shift 3:00pm until Finish

Monday – Friday 

Heavy Equipment Operator Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently, following company policies and procedures.
• Load and unload materials from trucks, racks and other storage areas, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
• Transport materials to designated locations within facility, maintaining inventory accuracy and organization.
• Inspect and maintain forklifts regularly, reporting any issues or malfunctions to the appropriate personnel for repair.
• Always follow safety regulations and guidelines, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment when required. 
• Uphold high standards of customer service while managing equipment maintenance and efficient loading of delivery trucks.

Heavy Duty Operator Qualifications and Requirements 

• Maintain professional communication skills, both written and verbal, with coworkers and customers.
• Proficiency in operating various types of forklifts, including reach and 
  stand-up lifts, along with an electric pallet jack.
• Ability to understand and follow safety protocols and operating instructions to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination to maneuver equipment in tight spaces and navigate busy warehouse environments.

Job Type 
Full-time, Temporary to Permanent.
