Here at Rising Village we are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to patients in various settings, including hospitals, assisted living facilities, and urgent care environments. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.

Duties

• Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
• Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and pulse.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
• Provide support in acute care settings by assisting nursing staff with patient assessments and care plans.
• Administer medications as prescribed and ensure proper medication management.
• Assist patients with mobility and physical therapy exercises to enhance recovery.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care.
• Support individuals with disabilities by providing tailored assistance based on their unique needs.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in patient care or a related field is preferred; experience in hospital medicine or assisted living is a plus.
• Knowledge of medical records management and HIPAA compliance is essential.
• Familiarity with acute care environments and urgent care practices is beneficial.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Ability to work compassionately with diverse populations, including individuals with disabilities.
• Certification as a Nursing Assistant or completion of a relevant training program is required.
• A commitment to providing high-quality patient care while adhering to safety protocols.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
