This position is for Fridays and Saturdays, with opportunities to pick up additional shifts frequently and potentially a set weekday. We are looking for someone who lives in or near Steamboat Springs and plans to remain in the area for the foreseeable future.

The front desk is the heartbeat of our spa. From greeting clients to orchestrating the day’s appointments, you’ll be the first and last face our guests see—and your presence sets the tone for their entire experience. We’re looking for someone who is not only reliable and gracious, but also driven to go above and beyond in a high-end, hospitality-focused environment. Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and check in clients with warmth, professionalism, and a sense of ease
  • Manage the spa schedule with Tetris-level optimization, anticipating the needs of clients and providers
  • Handle payments, product sales, and client communications with accuracy and positivity
  • Keep shared spaces pristine and ready for the next shift
  • Stay off personal devices during shifts and use downtime to proactively seek ways to support the team or improve the space
  • Think one step ahead to anticipate client needs and exceed expectations
  • Communicate clearly, tactfully, and kindly with both clients and teammates

Ideal Candidate Traits:

  • Lives in or near Steamboat and intends to stay
  • Exceptionally reliable, honest, and warm
  • Tireless attention to detail and follow-through
  • Naturally gracious, calm under pressure, and outwardly focused
  • Communicates professionally and with a “spa voice” that translates in person, during phone calls, and through written communications like texts and emails
  • Has a growth mindset and loves being part of a collaborative, supportive team
  • Finds satisfaction in leaving things better than they found them
  • Hospitality or spa/salon front desk experience preferred, but not required

Earning Potential:

  • $16-18/hour training rate for 80 hours
  • $19-24+/hour after that with raises and performance appraisals pre-scheduled between 3-6-12 months

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
