Our program is GROWING!!! Messiah Lutheran Preschool in Mounds View is looking for a fun, energetic Assistant Preschool Teacher to join our team! Messiah Preschool is licensed by The Department of Human Services in Minnesota. We are a child centered environment that emphasizes learning through play which creates the best foundation for future learning. The purpose of Messiah Preschool is to provide quality Christian education for the children of our members and for the children of families in the community. Messiah Preschool is a non-profit organization. We respect and are sensitive and responsive to individual and family diversity as reflected in language, culture, race and religion. Our program is aimed at nurturing the whole child and providing children with the opportunity to expand and grow in these areas: intellectual, physical, social, emotional, spiritual and multicultural. The candidate needs to possess the ability to create a fun and loving Christian environment for the children while instilling a love of learning and creativity. Great verbal and social skills are a must as well as the ability to work with staff in your classroom. Candidates should be able to plan and implement age appropriate lessons and activities for the students enrolled in their classroom, have good communication skills, and must be Rule 3 Assistant Teacher Qualified. Upon employment, the candidate will need to be First Aid & CPR trained or have the ability to complete this requirement. This position is a Part Time Position for 25 hours per week OR Full Time for 40 hours per week. Schedule is Monday - Friday. Messiah Preschool follows a school year calendar and you will be off for holidays and all weekends! No working past 5:30pm any night of the week!
