Line Cook
DAYTIME ONLY, SEASONAL HIRE for our Fall Season! September 20-November 2
Every weekend (daytime) , some weekday (daytime) shifts Wed-Fri
We are looking for a Line Cook to prepare food to our menu specifications. Line Cook duties will consist of assisting the foodservice manager with their daily tasks. The successful candidate will play a key role in contributing to our customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
· Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
· Prepare food for service (e.g. making pizza, deep frying, grilling, etc.)
· Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
· Answer, report and follow Food service Manager’s direction
· Clean up station and take care of leftover food
· Stock inventory appropriately
· Ensure that food comes out in a timely fashion and is high quality
· Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
· Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
Requirements
· Proven cooking experience (1 year), including experience as a Line Chef, Restaurant Cook or Prep Cook
· Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
· Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
· Familiar with industry’s best practices
Job Type: Seasonal
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 20 per week, daytime only, no night shift
