Small Private Dental Practice (Solo Doctor) in Sarasota seeking a skilled full time Lead Dental Assistant (EFDA ) ASAP to join our team Monday through Thursday. Previous knowledge of Patterson Eaglesoft software a plus! Must have at least 2 years working experience. Candidate must have the ability to make multiple unit temporary crowns/bridges and pack cord.

Office hours: Mondays, Wednesday, Thursdays 8:00-5 pm (with hour lunch 12:30-1:30) & Tuesdays 8:00-3:30 pm (No Break);average 32 to 36 hours per week. Friday's would be on an as needed basis to catch up on maintenance or cleaning etc.

The ideal candidate would be a team player and self starter. We are looking for someone that truly cares about the patients and builds rapport.

Responsibilities

- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures

- Fabricate Temporary Crowns & Bridges

- Pack Cord

- Setup and Breakdown of Rooms

- Take and dental x-rays (digital imaging)

- Ensure appropriate medical records, documentation, and coding are accurately maintained (chart notes, medical history updates)

- Handling Lab Cases - Writing Lab Scripts & Picking Shades

- Educate patients on oral healthcare

- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments

- Keeping up with maintenance on dental equipment

- Keep office in OSHA compliance

- Maintaining Ops.

-Ordering Supplies & Inventory

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 36 per week
