Fresh Fare is a small family business that operates out of a local High School. We've been running the cafeteria for over 20 years and look forward to welcoming new team members. Job includes prep work and service for breakfast and lunch to students, as well as clean-up, dishes, and additional prep for upcoming school days. Candidate must pass extensive background check, must be clear of TB and must be vaccinated.

Ideal candidate must be able to multi-task, work quickly, and stay on their feet for 4+ hours at a time. I cannot stress enough the fast pace of this job. We literally do not have chairs in the kitchen and regularly walk 10,000+ steps/shift.

Specific duties will be stocking drinks and snacks. Making grilled cheese sandwiches, quesadillas, salads, weighing out burger patties, etc. Dishes throughout the day. The kitchen 20+ years old and has a lot of quirky equipment. You need to be able to go with the flow and improvise. There are only 3 staff members in the kitchen so you must be willing to jump in wherever necessary. This is a small Mom & Pop business, so we are a fairly old school operation.

I'm looking for someone from 7:00-2:00 Monday-Friday. I have some flexibility with timing if you have some other early morning or afternoon obligation. It's a school schedule so we're off for all holidays and many other random days throughout the year. Especially around the holidays. The starting wage is $20/hour. No benefits or paid time off. If we aren’t at work, we don’t get paid. No sick days, vacation, or other paid time off.
