Job Description: As a Trial Technician you will play a pivotal role in assisting our  attorneys during trials and hearings. Your technical expertise will ensure the seamless presentation of evidence, exhibits, and multimedia materials, contributing to our  ability  to effectively advocate for our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with attorneys to prepare and organize trial presentations, ensuring all necessary documents and exhibits are readily accessible.
• Set up and operate courtroom technology, including computers, monitors, projectors, and audiovisual equipment.
• Manage and display electronic exhibits, video depositions, and other multimedia materials during trial proceedings.
• Troubleshoot technical issues that may arise during trials and hearings, ensuring minimal disruption.
• Assist in the preparation of demonstratives, charts, and graphics to enhance presentations.
• Coordinate with witnesses and experts to ensure their understanding of the technology used during proceedings.
• Maintain a comprehensive inventory of trial technology equipment and software.
• Collaborate with the legal team to develop effective trial strategies leveraging technology.
• Prepare exhibit list and binders as well as any other documents needed for trial.
• File and serve pleadings while in trial.

Qualifications:

• The right candidate must be focused, pay close attention to detail and be available to work overtime and weekends while in trial.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology, Legal Studies) or equivalent work experience.
• Strong technical proficiency and familiarity with trial presentation software (e.g., TrialDirector, Sanction, ExhibitView).
• Experience in setting up and operating audiovisual equipment in a courtroom environment.
• Knowledge of legal procedures and courtroom etiquette.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Prior experience as a Trial Technician or similar role is preferred.

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
