The Jackson Mo Area Chamber of Commerce is hiring!

The Chamber Executive Assistant supports the Chamber's mission by ensuring efficient, friendly, and professional operations aligned with the organization’s brand and messaging. Under the direction of the CEO, this role handles day-to-day administrative functions, member communications, event coordination, and support for committees and publications.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the primary point of contact for members, visitors, and the public, ensuring professional and courteous communication.

Perform general office duties including maintaining member files, managing the calendar of events, organizing meeting materials, and preparing correspondence.

Maintain the Chamber office and equipment, ensuring a clean, organized, and professional environment.

Provide support for all Chamber events, promotions, and fundraising activities, including on-site participation.

Assist Chamber committees by providing administrative and logistical support as needed.

Help produce Chamber publications and communications, including newsletters and reports.

Manage the Chamber’s website and social media presence; coordinate digital communications and event promotions.

Support the CEO with projects, research, and other assigned tasks.

Qualifications:

Proficient in Microsoft Office, QuickBooks Pro, WordPress, Adobe Suite, and online communication tools.

Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.

Professional demeanor with the flexibility to adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Experience in customer service, event planning, and digital marketing is preferred.
