Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Outpatient Therapist to join our team. In this role, you will provide therapeutic services to individuals experiencing mental health challenges in an outpatient setting. You will work collaboratively with clients to develop personalized treatment plans, facilitate therapy sessions, and support their journey towards improved mental well-being. Your expertise will play a crucial role in helping clients achieve their therapeutic goals.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct initial assessments and evaluations to determine clients' needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions using evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
  • Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client sessions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals, to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.
  • Educate clients and their families about mental health issues and available resources for support.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with best practices in the field of mental health therapy.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • You want hours of supervision toward your License (LMHC)
  • Experience in outpatient therapy settings preferred but not mandatory; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as CBT, DBT, or Wellness is a plus.
