Overview
We are seeking physical therapists to join our team to work in assigned skilled nursing facilities in a per diem basis.

Duties

• Assess patients’ physical abilities and limitations through comprehensive evaluations.
• Develop personalized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
• Implement therapeutic exercises and modalities to improve mobility and strength.
• Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation processes, home exercises, and preventative measures.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient progress accurately in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Provide support in acute care settings as needed, ensuring the highest level of patient safety and comfort.
• Stay updated on advancements in physical therapy practices and techniques.
• And nore as needed by the facility.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to physical therapy.
• Experience in various settings such as outpatient clinics, hospitals, home community care, acute care facilities, and geriatrics or pediatrics.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Ability to develop effective treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Proficient in using physical therapy equipment and technology.
• Strong problem-solving skills to address patient challenges effectively.
• Compassionate approach towards patient care with a focus on improving quality of life.
