Job Purpose: Performing initial, in-process and final inspections on a variety of electric motors and associated motor equipment. Must understand and be technically proficient in inspection, diagnostics, fault isolation and repair of all major end items and assemblies. 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Knowledgeable of the requirements of the ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System 
• Quality Assurance Manual and quality procedure preparation capability and review. 
• Obtaining quality system registration from third party registrar with the responsibility for maintaining certification 
• Scheduling of internal audits with surveillance of their proper execution; follow up of any corrective issues and actions 
• Assuring the proper quality system procedures are followed by the respective departments. 
• Resource for all internal and external quality issue resolution; assuring responsible authority is assigned to address the problem with documented follow-up 
• Review and approval of all work instructions and inspection test report documentation. Maintenance of master documentation lists of internally and externally supplied contract related information, customer specifications, customer drawings etc.
• Basic knowledge of motor construction, repair, testing standards, drawings and equipment used for mechanical and electrical measuring 
• Perform related duties as assigned 

Qualifications and Requirements: 

Education: Require training normally obtained through Grade 12 technical school education and/or community college QA certificate or equivalent 

Skills: Must have considerable mechanical and electrical aptitude QA designation: ASQ – American Society for Quality; CQE – Certified Quality Engineer; CQA - Certified Quality Auditor or equivalent required 

Experience: Three years' experience in a related manufacturing industry

Hourly Pay Rate: $25-$27 (Rates are negotiable based on the skills and experience)
