We're seeking a sharp, detail-driven Accountant to join our dynamic and growing operation.

Position Summary:
As the Accountant for our luxury used car dealership, you will be responsible for overseeing the full scope of our financial operations. From daily reporting and payroll to titling rare and exotic vehicles, your work will directly support our efficiency, compliance, and profitability. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in dealership accounting and able to operate in a fast-paced, high-touch environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and reconcile daily financial reports, including bank deposits and cash flow summaries

Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate, up-to-date financial records

Manage payroll processing and employee-related accounting, including commissions and bonuses

Ensure accurate and timely tax filings (sales/use tax, payroll tax, etc.)

Handle vehicle titling and registration across state lines, especially for luxury and specialty vehicles

Process accounts payable and receivable, reconciling vendor and customer accounts

Collaborate with the sales, F&I, and service departments to ensure accurate deal posting and departmental performance reporting

Prepare for and assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings

Maintain compliance with lender and manufacturer (when applicable) financial reporting requirements

Support budgeting, forecasting, and expense management initiatives

Stay current on DMV and titling regulations for multi-state or out-of-state transactions

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

2+ years of experience in dealership or automotive accounting (luxury or high-end vehicle experience preferred)

Familiarity with dealer management systems (DMS) like Skywerks

Strong understanding of vehicle titling processes, especially for out-of-state and high-value vehicles

Knowledge of GAAP, payroll, and sales tax regulations

High degree of professionalism, accuracy, and confidentiality

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Proficiency with Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
