Part-Time Production Assistant/Intern – Electric Squeegee Screen Printing

Electric Squeegee Screen Printing, a small but fast-paced shop, is seeking a Part-Time Production Assistant/Intern to join our team!

At Electric Squeegee, we pride ourselves on quality and efficiency. You'll be working directly with our Master Printer and Owner, and collaborating with our Sales/Manager/Customer Service lead. This is a unique opportunity to learn the ins and outs of the screen printing industry from seasoned professionals.

What You'll Do:

This role focuses on the "back-of-the-house" production responsibilities, crucial to getting those perfectly printed garments out the door. Your tasks will include:

Screen Preparation: Assisting with the degreasing, coating, exposing, and washing out of screens.

Quality Control: Inspecting printed apparel for accuracy and quality.

Receiving, Finishing & Packaging: Counting, folding, and preparing finished orders for pickup or shipment.

Shop Maintenance: Keeping the production area clean, organized, and stock updates.

Screen Reclaiming: Cleaning screens after use to prepare them for future jobs.

What We're Looking For:

Reliable & Punctual: You're dependable and show up ready to work.

Eager to Learn: No prior screen printing experience is required, but a strong willingness to learn and attention to detail are a must. 

We do ask for a no-screens/phones work-environment, with access only during break times. If you have a special circumstance, we are able to accommodate.

Hardworking: You're comfortable with a fast-paced environment and aren't afraid to get a little inky!

Physically Able: This role involves standing for long periods, lifting heavy supplies, and being hands-on with equipment. Being able to lift 50 lbs safely is a must. Ability to work in an EVAP warehouse environment i  summer-time temps is a must.

Positive Attitude: You bring good energy and a team-player mentality.

Local to Tempe, AZ: Convenient for university students or recent graduates in the area.
