We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager / Office Admin for a Fire Sprinkler Installation Company to oversee and manage various commercial construction projects and business operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and be solution oriented.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and submit bids - including finding bid opportunities
  • Submit and monitor Prequalifications.
  • Manage Contract Requirements - including file set-up, lien notices, insurance requests, RFI's, Change Orders, Logs, Progress and Closeout Documents.
  • Use construction management and other software, including ProCore, Textura, LCP Tracker, Quality Bidders, Plan Rooms
  • Plan management and permit submittals to portals
  • Coordinate schedules and vendor management for construction projects.
  • Monitor project progress and budget
  • Assist bookkeeper with billing, collections and union /certified payroll reporting.

Qualifications

  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Previous construction site experience and knowledge of contracts
  • Strong problem solving and solution finding skills
