As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals with disabilities. Your primary responsibility will be to provide compassionate care and support to clients in various settings, including group homes and family residences as well as going out in the community. Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal prep.
• Provide support in developing life skills and promoting independence.
• Engage clients in recreational activities and community outings to enhance social interaction.
• Monitor and document client progress
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Foster positive relationships with clients, their families, and other team members.

Qualifications

• Experience in home health, long-term care, or working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and their families.
• A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others achieve their goals.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
