Creating and modifying CNC programs for various cabinet components using CAD/CAM software (e.g., Cabinet Vision, AutoCAD, Mastercam). 

Determining the most efficient machining processes, selecting appropriate tools, and optimizing cutting paths for optimal production. 

Interpreting blueprints, schematics, and 3D models to accurately translate design requirements into machine code. 

Setting up CNC machines, loading programs, and monitoring machine performance during production runs

Conducting quality checks to ensure parts meet design specifications, troubleshooting issues, and making necessary adjustments to programs or machine settings. 

Performing routine machine maintenance, identifying and resolving malfunctions, and assisting with machine repairs. 

Working with engineers, designers, and machine operators to ensure smooth workflow and efficient production. 

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

CAD/CAM Software Proficiency:

Experience with software like Cabinet Vision, AutoCAD, Mastercam, or similar programs. 

 

CNC Programming Knowledge:

Familiarity with CNC programming languages (G-code, M-code) and machining principles. 

 

Technical Drawing Interpretation:

Ability to read and understand technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics. 

 

Problem-Solving Skills:

Ability to troubleshoot machine malfunctions, identify process inefficiencies, and optimize production. 

 

Attention to Detail:

Ensuring accuracy in program creation and machine setup to meet tight tolerances and specifications. 

 

Communication Skills:

Effectively communicating with team members regarding machine operation, program modifications, and quality concerns. 

 

Education:

A high school diploma or equivalent is generally required, with post-secondary education or certifications in CNC programming or machining highly preferred.
