We are actively looking for a new or experienced caregiver to work with clients located in Clark and Cowlitz county.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES OF THE POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
• Meal preparation
• Stand-by assistance
• Medication reminders and assistance
• Companionship (playing games, going for walks, engaging in conversation, etc.)
• Light house chores
• Driving to appointments, run errands, etc.
• Showering, bathing, grooming assistance

PAY/COMPENSATION
• Base rate of $21.10 - 23+ per hour, depending on experience and certification!

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR EMPLOYMENT:
• Active HCA or CNA license valid in the State of Washington or willing to go through online paid training to earn HCA.
• Smartphone (iPhone, Andriod, Googlephone, etc.) for time and attendance software.
• Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
• Must be able to reliably commute to your client's location.
• Ability to pass criminal background check.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
This position requires strong time management skills, interpersonal skills, patience, listening skills and knowledge of generally accepted care standards. This position requires the ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and written communication skills; through various channels including in-person, phone, email, and text messages. This position requires demonstrated experience and tact in communicating with diverse populations. This includes the ability to recognize and understand the differences, needs, experiences, values, lifestyles, and ages of the populations served. Must have the ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service standards in stressful situations. This position requires regular local travel and reliable transportation to assigned client locations and does require a smartphone for clocking in/out of system.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
None. Escalated matters of significance are referred to Home Care Supervisor or Manager.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Prefers a minimum of six months industry related experience.
• For Washington State employees: Certified Nursing Assistant (C-NA), Home Care Aide (HCA), Home Health Aide (HHA) license is required and must remain in good standing during employment.
CERTIFICATIONS AND/OR REGISTRATIONS:
RN Delegation certification is highly desired. A valid Washington State Driver's License or Oregon State Driver's License, satisfactory driver abstracts, and proof of auto insurance are required for individuals that drive while engaged in duties for Fedelta Home Care. Must have the ability to successfully complete pre-employment and on-going background checks.
COMPUTER SKILLS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have demonstrated experience in Microsoft Office Suite, Word, Excel, and Outlook. Must have experience with or the technical aptitude to proficiently use records management systems and health care programs such as WellSky Personal Care.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Occasionally required to climb ladders or steps, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects including the human body. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Visual acuity is necessary to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data; viewing computer terminal; reading; operation of office equipment; operating a motor vehicle; and determining accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of assigned work.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to both inside and outside environmental conditions while conducting home visits and travel between locations. May occasionally be exposed to atmospheric conditions during in home visits such as fumes, odors, dusts, mists, or poor ventilation. May be exposed to infectious diseases. The noise level in the work environment is low and typical of what is experienced in a traditional home or office environment.
