Merchandisers support the sales effort in the on and off premise locations by making sure fresh product is on the retailers’ shelves, properly stocked and faced, and that it’s competitively merchandised inside and outside each account with permanent and temporary point-of-sale. Merchandisers are responsible for making sure all KBI products are presented in the best possible way to increase sales over competitive products.
Responsibilities:
Operate KBI vehicle for transportation to/from accounts
Be accountable to properly complete every aspect of the Merchandising job
Understand and comply with merchandising performance standards, including display building, product rotation (first in, first out), time spent in accounts, installation of point-of-sale, etc.
Call on all assigned accounts by maintaining set schedule set by Manager
Maintain daily itinerary of calls, complete all internal control forms, and turn forms into Sales Director
Understand and promote proper shelf space management and work with the Off Premise Sales Manager to achieve it in each assigned account
Monitor and report on competitive activity to your direct supervisor
Communicate with fellow employees concerning service problems, out of stocks, lost shelf space, general information, etc.
Maintain and submit accurate monthly gasoline usage reports
Maintain, be responsible for, and keep in working order all company issued equipment
Know, understand, and adhere to all KBI policies and procedures to help maintain the positive image of KBI in the trade
Working knowledge of all laws that govern our industry and business
Communicates to the District/Channel Manager all pertinent information and changes affecting assigned accounts

Assist in training new employees
Assist others and perform other’s tasks as appropriate and/or assigned
Completes any other job assignment delegated by the District/Channel Manager
Qualifications:
Must be 21 years of age and possess valid driver’s license with reliable transportation
Comfortable performing a physical job with the ability to lift at least 25lbs
Ability to understand complex verbal and written instructions
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to follow up on details
Strong, self-motivated team player with a competitive drive to work hard and WIN
Full-time (Monday-Friday)
Start time: 7:30AM | End time: 3:30PM *May vary based on volume of sales/holidays/resets/etc.
Salary/Rate: $36,400 ($700/week)
