Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Aerospace Composite Technician. This role involves working with advanced composite materials, contributing to the manufacturing and maintenance of aerospace components. Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and fabricate composite materials such as carbon fiber, fiberglass, and Kevlar.
  • Perform hand or automated lay-up of composite layers with precision.
  • Operate curing ovens, autoclaves, and other machinery for molding and curing composite materials.
  • Use specialized tools for cutting, trimming, and shaping composite parts to meet specifications.
  • Conduct inspections to ensure quality and integrity of composite components.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of processes and materials used.
  • Follow safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in composite materials or aerospace manufacturing is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
  • Mechanical aptitude and understanding of basic mechanical principles.
  • Problem-solving skills to identify and address issues in composite materials and processes.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Basic knowledge of blueprint reading, measuring instruments, and computer-aided manufacturing systems preferred, but not required.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience with composites or polymer materials is advantageous.
  • Basic understanding of curing processes or autoclave operations.
  • Familiarity with safety and quality standards in manufacturing environments.
Work Environment
  • Standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks.
  • Exposure to manufacturing facilities with loud noises, chemicals, or high temperatures.
  • Adherence to safety regulations and use of protective equipment, such as gloves, goggles, and respirators.
