Position Summary (Purpose)

Works at the location serving up fun, fellowship, smiles, and refreshment with every swirl of our family-secret recipe. You will be the face of the brand for those who visit your location. We are looking for energetic and engaging team members to train and equip to become the next generation’s business leaders. Summary of experience: Prior experience as a shift lead, team lead, restaurant assistant manager, or assistant manager. Working with equipment that dispenses soft serve ice cream or equivalent experience is not required, but is a plus.

Team Lead Responsibilities:

  • Oversee store operations during each assigned shift. Ensure team members working your shift  is a purpose driven brand ambassador who not only embodies the spirit of the brand, but actively works to create and maintain the culture
  • Assist the store manager with the following human resources objectives: recruiting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, communicating job expectations; monitoring, enforcing policies, and procedures during assigned shifts
  • Ensure team members are accountable for meeting standards for quality, service, cleanliness, safety, and operational efficiency and effectiveness
  • Maintain customer satisfaction by monitoring, evaluating, and auditing product and service offerings; ensure staff is building relationships with guests
  • Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy store environment by establishing, following, and enforcing sanitation standards and procedures; complying with health and legal regulations 
  • Accomplish company goals by accepting ownership and exploring opportunities to add value to the brand
  • Ensure the security of the location. Respond to emergency situations or other urgent issues
  • Ensure technology and applications are working as expected
  • Assist the store manager with the routine maintenance and upkeep of the equipment and location
  • All other duties and responsibilities as assigned

  • Once trained, able to execute all appropriate and necessary software and communication vehicles

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Be willing and able to work a flexible schedule to include evenings, weekends, and some holidays
  • 1+ years customer service experience preferably in the food industry
  • Have the ability to lift and carry 50 lbs on a regular basis
  • Have the ability to stand for long periods of time

Position:

  • Full time, 30 hours a week
  • Starting at $17.00 an hour plus tips and bonus
