About the Position:

The Junior Estimator supports our Preconstruction and Project Management teams by contributing to accurate, well-organized, and competitive estimates for amenity center and hardscape construction projects. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career professional with strong potential and a desire to grow in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.

Responsibilities:

Assist in producing conceptual and detailed cost estimates for hardscape and amenity center projects.

Perform quantity takeoffs from site plans, construction drawings, and specifications.

Gather and assess subcontractor and supplier pricing.

Support proposal development, scope documents, and budget breakdowns.

Partner with field teams to provide real-time pricing support.

Participate in site visits, subcontractor meetings, and design reviews.

Contribute to and help maintain historical cost databases.

Demonstrate initiative, curiosity, and commitment to learning.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.

Exposure to civil, site, or horizontal construction preferred; internships or field experience a plus.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with estimating software, Bluebeam, or Procore a bonus.

Highly detail-oriented with strong math and analytical skills.

Strong communicator who thrives in a collaborative setting.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Ability to work in person at our McKinney office and visit DFW-area job sites.
