Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Christian Elementary Music Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and supporting the academic and social development of students. This role involves engaging with children in a dynamic classroom setting, implementing effective lesson plans, and collaborating with fellow educators to enhance the educational experience. This teacher will introduce young students to music fundamentals, fostering creativity and a love for the arts. They will design and implement music lessons, teach basic theory, vocal techniques, and instrument skills, and organizing performances. Additionally, they may work with individual students or groups, providing vocal and instrumental instruction.

Responsibilities

• Create and lead a Christmas or Easter Play/Performance.
• Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and meet the diverse needs of students.
• Utilize effective behavior management techniques to maintain a positive classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Collaborate with colleagues in curriculum development to create innovative educational programs.
• Assess student progress through regular evaluations and provide feedback to students and parents.
• Participate in education administration activities, including meetings, professional development, and community events.
