We are hiring a Field Inspection Engineer for a full-time, temporary position with strong potential to convert to permanent employment. You’ll support pipeline and fuel tank renovation and maintenance of federal Petroleum, Oil, and Lubricants (POL) at several location including: NAVFAC EXWC Headquarters – Port Hueneme, CA. and Pacific Rim (PACRIM) sites: Hawaii, Guam, Japan, etc.


Qualifications an Relevant Experience:
* Bachelor's / Masters degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical or Structural (current PE License required) With 10 Years Minimum Experience
* Construction inspection and quality assurance, including Title II services (Field Engineers)
* API and STI: certified tank and pipeline inspection (API 653, 570, 510)
* Corrosion analysis and cathodic protection
* Environmental analysis, spill remediation, HAZMAT handling
* Familiarity with UFCs, MIL-STDs, and NAVFAC/DOD procedures
* Cybersecurity awareness for control systems (NIST SP 800-171 / 800-53)
* NACE-certified Corrosion Engineers
* U.S. Citizen able to pass background check


Compensation & Details:
* W2 hourly rate based on experience
* Full benefits available (medical, PTO)
* Onsite laptop, PPE, and travel between clinics supported site.
* Temp-to-perm pathway beginning in June 2025
