Job Summary:

We are looking for a dependable Groundsman/Sawman to join our crew in Henderson County for private property debris removal. This position will involve cutting down and clearing storm-damaged trees. Climbing opportunities are available at an increased hourly rate. Experience operating a skid steer is a strong plus. A typical day is 7AM-5PM, 5-6 days a week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cut down and process trees using chainsaws and other tools
• Assist with ground operations, including brush removal, rigging, and cleanup.
• Operate chainsaws and other power equipment safely and effectively.
• Operate or assist with skid steer loading into dump trailer (experience is a plus).
• Help load and remove debris from private properties.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Communicate clearly with team members to ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Arrive on time and ready to work each day—reliability is a must.

Qualifications:

• Experience in tree removal, grounds work, or related field.
• Ability to use chainsaws, ropes, and rigging tools safely.
• Physically capable of working outdoors in all conditions.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must be reliable, punctual, safety-conscious, and a team player.

Preferred Skills:

• Skid steer operation experience.
• Disaster/storm cleanup experience.
• Familiarity with safe tree-felling techniques.
• First Aid/CPR certification a plus.

Compensation:

·      $20-25 per hour + workers comp.
