Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk / Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide administrative support and bookkeeping assistance with accounts payables.
Duties
- Receive, code, input, and file all accounts payables accordingly
- Assist in answering and directing phone calls in a polite and professional manner
- Assist with office management tasks such as filing, data entry, and scheduling appointments
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail
- Assist in maintaining office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary
- Assist with basic proofreading tasks
- Utilize computer literacy skills to perform various office tasks
- Assist Property Manager with certain projects for tenants, vendors, and or property management
Experience
- Proven experience as an accounting clerk, bookkeeper, accounts payable or in a related role is highly preferred
- Familiarity with Property Management is preferred
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Ability to type accurately and efficiently
- Experience with Rent Manager, Word, and Excel is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
