Youth Assistant Position

Part-Time | Ages 17–24 | $13/hr

Are you a creative and responsible teen who enjoys working with kids? The Youth Nation Center is looking for a Youth Assistant to join our team! This is a great opportunity to gain real-world experience while making a difference in your community.

What You’ll Do:
As a Youth Assistant, you’ll work closely with our Lead Teacher to help create a fun, safe, and inspiring environment for children ages 9–15. Your main responsibilities will include:

Assisting the Lead Teacher during group lessons and activities

Helping prepare and serve brunch and afternoon snacks

Setting up and cleaning the classroom before and after sessions

Supporting kids during arts & crafts and weekly lessons

Modeling respectful and positive behavior at all times

You’re a Great Fit If You:

Are between the ages of 17-24 Are dependable, respectful, and enjoy helping others

Love music, arts, and working with younger kids

Are willing to learn and follow directions from adults

Can commit to showing up on time and working as part of a team

Schedule:
Part-time after-school hours 3-6pm and occasional Saturdays. Schedule is flexible with school obligations. and summer hours 10am-2pm
