As an Audio Visual Technician, you will play a crucial role in the successful execution of audio-visual projects and events. Your primary responsibilities will include setting up, operating, and managing a team, ensuring the seamless delivery of high-quality audio and visual experiences. Key Responsibilities:
Set up audio-visual equipment, including sound systems, projectors, screens, microphones, LED video wall, stage design, and lighting systems.
Operate and troubleshoot audio-visual equipment during events, ensuring optimal performance.
Collaborate with event organizers and clients to understand their technical requirements and provide solutions to meet their needs.
Assist with event planning, including designing audio-visual setups, creating diagrams, and providing technical support.
Ensure all audio and visual elements are synchronized and operating smoothly during events.
Troubleshoot technical issues in real-time and implement solutions to minimize downtime.
Safely handle and transport audio-visual equipment to and from event locations.
Implement and run needed hardware and software that best suits the event needs.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school certification in audio-visual technology is a plus.
Proven experience as an Audio Visual Technician or in a similar role.
Strong technical aptitude and the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in audio-visual equipment operation, and setup.
Familiarity with various software and hardware used in the audio-visual industry.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective client interaction.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Physically capable of lifting and transporting audio-visual equipment.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, based on event schedules.
Clean driving record and valid driver's license
